# Tiksher: Bashkir spellchecking API

Send the full text in the text field; do not split it into words yourself.
The text must be a non-blank string of at most 5000 Unicode code points.
Spaces, punctuation and newlines count towards this limit. The limit applies
before trimming or Unicode normalization; it counts characters, not UTF-8 bytes.
Split longer texts into chunks of at most 5000 characters at word boundaries.

Only words flagged by the Bashkir dictionary appear in errors. Correct words
and the original text are not returned. Each distinct word appears once,
in first-occurrence order, with its case preserved. Repeated words are checked
once. Actual suggestions depend on the dictionary; choose a suitable correction
using the sentence context. An empty suggestions array is still a spelling error,
not a successful check. The service does not automatically rewrite the text.

Tokenization: Unicode is normalized to NFC; punctuation, numeric components
such as 1941-ҙән, initials and known abbreviations are ignored. Quoted names
with a suffix are checked together, e.g. «Даная»ның becomes Данаяның.
This is dictionary-based spelling checking, not grammar or style checking.
Names and words missing from the dictionary can also be flagged.
If the input has no checkable words, errors is empty.
The submitted text is not written to the statistics database.

HTTP 422: invalid JSON data, missing/non-string/blank text or text over the limit.
HTTP 503: spellchecker unavailable. Other non-200 responses are failures too;
do not interpret them as "no errors". Error details are in the detail field.
